I’m thrilled to be awarded a PEI Arts Grant to start work on a new manuscript about living with uncertainty. For a period of two years, Adam and I lived in a string of artist residencies, short-term rentals, and in our small compact van. Not knowing where you are going to live or land next forces you to exist in the moment, to trust your gut, and to have faith that something will eventually work out. How can we take these strategies and apply them to the world we are living in right now?
This photo was taken at PLAYA, in southern Oregon, one of the places that offered us a much-needed refuge during that uncertain time. Thanks to Innovation PEI for providing support for this new work to be developed.
