Lost objects are re-imagined in this photography/poetry/drawing collaboration between myself and visual artist Laurel Terlesky. It all started with photographs of lost objects taken on daily walks around Squamish. By framing these lost objects as art—gloves placed carefully on branches for their owners to reclaim—they become an entry point into narrative. Through photographs, drawings, and poems, Narratives of the Lost hopes to spark a conversation about connection. Who did these items belong to and how do they reflect our changing community identity?
Opening reception: Saturday April 1st, 7 – 10 pm, Squamish Academy of Music Gallery, 38121 2nd Ave, Squamish, BC
